Venomous Maximus – “The Mission” [Bandcamp Album Stream]
As the band very clearly and simply states, Venomous Maximus plays Metal! The group came together as recently as early 2010 and almost instantly was opening for well-known bands the likes of: Torche, Pentagram, High On Fire and Eyehategod. Since that time Venomous Maximus has put out two releases – the 7 inch single Give Up the Witch and the 12 inch EP The Mission. According to their bio, the band’s headspace lands: “somewhere between a Alejandro Jodorowsky film and a New Orleans voodoo den. Hail Satan and pass the chicken feet!”
