Al Di Meola – “Morocco Fantasia – World Sinfonia Live with Special Guests” [Blu-ray Review]
This Blu-ray captures legendary guitarist Al Di Meola live in Morocco in 2009. Di Meola takes center stage surrounded by an unbelievably talented group of musicians. As a self-proclaimed hack guitarist, I found myself in absolute awe watching how effortlessly Di Meola moves about the frets of his acoustic guitar; it’s truly astounding what he is capable of. Di Meola’s performance is beautifully accented by a stage drenched in rich, vibrant colors and tons of slides and images of Morocco.

I have reviewed many DVD and Blu-ray discs over the years, but none has taken my breath away quite as much as this one. It sounds great in 5.1 Dolby Digital and the colors and pictures just seem to leap off the screen. I truly found this to be a pleasure to watch and unlike many of the other DVDs/Blu-rays I review I will return to this one often; I found it to be entertaining and relaxing. Check this one out, it is breathtaking!
