With only a little bit over a month left until GWAR’s new album ‘Bloody Pit of Horror’ hits stores, the GWAR global media onslaught is showing no signs of stopping. The assault will continue today as GWAR is teaming up with Metal Sucks to premiere another track off of their forthcoming album.
Starting today you can head over to THIS LOCATION and listen to the world premiere of the track “Sick and Twisted”. The band is currently on the road in America Junior (Canada) for the next four shows before they return to the United States for more devastation.
When reached for comment about Metal Sucks premiering the new track “Sick and Twisted” and his thoughts on the song, GWAR’s heavily drugged up front thing had the following to say: “This is a little ditty that pretty much sums up my feelings towards my own life and exposes my personal philosophy of complete shittiness. In this world of filth and hatred, pretty much everything is ‘Sick and Twisted’.”
GWAR has also announced that they will be playing five more shows starting the day after Christmas kicking off in New York City. Tickets for the fan club will go on sale October 20th and tickets for the general public will go on sale starting October 22nd. The dates and venues can be found below:
Additional Dates:
12/26 – New York, NY @ Best Buy Theater (Formerly Nokia Theater)
12/27 – So. Burlington, VT @ Higher Ground
12/28 – New Haven, CT @ Toad’s Place
12/29 – Washington, DC @ 9:30 Club
12/30 – Norfolka, VA @ The Norva
Lead singer Oderus Urungus commented on the new dates: “More gigs? More sluts? Hoes? Drugs? Rock and roll? New York City? I’m in. But then I have to get straight back to Antarctica, I hear the local super-mutant-penguin population is out of control.”
