Isaac Dunbar Kicks off 2024 with “Apartment A” Single & Video
Breakout pop prodigy Isaac Dunbar invites fans into “Apartment A,” his new single out now via RCA Records.
Returning with his first release in two years, breakout pop prodigy Isaac Dunbar invites fans into “Apartment A,” his new single out now via RCA Records.
Ushering in the new era of Isaac, “Apartment A” is a bold and boisterous pop dance track, an exuberant celebration of late nights and love affairs.
Accompanying the release is the single’s playful music video, debuted by PAPER this morning, who hailed the “gorgeous” release as an “electric, funk-laden track.” Directed by Hannah Bon, the “Apartment A” visual follows Isaac through a wild night at an extravagant house party filled with beautiful and outlandish characters.
Issac shares his insights on the release:
“‘Apartment A’ is about creating fame within yourself, seeing yourself as an icon. A complete opposite of insecurity. It’s about the friends I made living in New York and how we found ourselves in our small apartments, gay clubs, and the hustle and bustle.”
The release of “Apartment A” is the first tease of new music since Isaac’s critically acclaimed EP Banish The Banshee in 2022, a conceptual body of work written and produced by Isaac which told the story of his life through a series of sonic parables. The project garnered praise from Billboard, The FADER, Consequence, Teen Vogue, NPR, Dazed, and more, earning him a nomination for “Breakthrough Music Artist” at the 2023 GLAAD Media Awards.
