Demande à la Poussière Confirm Third Album ‘Kintsugi’
Post-black doomsters Demande à la Poussière has extended their contract with My Kingdom Music and finished their third ‘Kintsugi.’
The dark sound of post-black doomsters Demande à la Poussière will soon return to be the soundtrack of your tormented souls. The French act has just extended their contract with My Kingdom Music and finished the recordings of their third album which will be titled Kintsugi and released on May 3rd in digipak and LP format.
It is the first that will see Simon Perrin’s presence behind the microphones while the line-up is completed by bassist Neil Leveugle, drummer Vincent Baglin, and Edgard Chevallier on guitars and also behind the mixing desk of his Lower Tones Place Studio, where it has been recorded, mixed and mastered.
Demande à la poussière’s Neil Leveugle explains what is behind “Kintsugi” and what can be expected:
“Kintsugi is an intimate introspective trip within the wounds of the being. Just like the Japanese art of rebuilding ceramics with a golden lacquer, the Kintsugi, this 3rd album is about resilience, about the violent energy that one can find beyond the depths of his own despair, it is about this force that make the suffering that we come across shine brightly, when the only choice is to go on… when you know that stopping means dying.”
From this brutal statement Demande à la Poussière created a dark and melancholic album. A clear French singing leading an acid Black Metal Music with some melodic lights emerging from a gloomy sludge scenery. I’m sure that all our old fans will find the primordial essence of the band in this album and I am sure that many new guys will join our consolidated fan base.”
Kintsugi release will be promoted by Agence Singularités and supported with dozens of live shows in Europe with Black Speech Booking.
