LA Indie Songstress Pontea Unveils the Go-To Wedding Song of the Year “Our Love”
Pontea celebrates the season of love with the highly anticipated release of her single, “Our Love.”
Starting the year off on a high note, Los Angeles pop artist Pontea (find her on Instagram here) celebrates the season of love with the highly anticipated release of her single, “Our Love.” Originally performed on her wedding day, the ballad serves as a love letter from her to her now husband. The dynamic production and heart-on-sleeve lyrics offer a new direction in music for the young artist – one where she feels the rawest and most vulnerable with just her lyrics and piano. The style shows off her electrifying performance, allowing her to showcase her more intimate, personal side.
She comments:
“I wrote this song as a way to express the depth of my love for my husband. Our wedding day was the most special day of my life, and I wanted to create something that would always remind us of that day and the bond we share. It’s the essence of my vows in the best way I know how to communicate, through music.”
In the year leading up to her wedding, she made multiple attempts to write a love song for her husband, but nothing felt right until one day when creativity called and summoned her to the piano. The new track marks a massive return for Pontea – after a brief hiatus from the music scene, her return comes highly anticipated, gracing fans from all over the world with the resulting new chapter in her life, complete with emotional new songs that document this invigorating journey in her life. Setting the tone for the season of love, “Our Love” makes for the perfect addition to any wedding playlist.
