Having set the bar ridiculously high with their 2022 event (read our review here), Damnation Festival have announced the eagerly-awaited first wave of confirmed artists for this year’s event which will again return to the Manchester BEC Arena on November 4th, 2023.
Heading up the first announcement are Belgian post-metal favourites Amenra, German Doom Metal heavyweights AHAB and grindcore crew Rotten Sound.
Completing the first announcement are highly-rated British metallers Heriot, US thrashers High Command, avant-garde black metal outfit Ashenspire, doom/death metal lads Strigoi and German post-black metal troop Downfall Of Gaia, the latter performing a one-off UK show.
Ahead of the main event which takes place at Damnation’s now new home in the BEC Arena in Manchester, the festival will again hold “A Night of Salvation” with details of the special sets to be confirmed.
