David Duchovny announces he will take to the stage at London’s iconic O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire for one night only next month. This very special live show will see musician-actor-author Duchovny joined by his band for an unforgettable evening of live music during his one-off show in London this summer on Saturday, 27 July 2024.

While fans may know him best for his work, including The X-Files and Californication, Duchovny has carved out a larger creative role over the years, authoring six books and releasing three critically acclaimed studio albums, earning rave reviews and a loyal global fan base along the way. Duchovny’s latest album, titled Gestureland, was released in 2021, tinged with sundrenched sounds blending 70s California pop, alternative rock, folk and country and anchored with Duchovny’s trademark timeless classic rock sound and melodic lyricism.

Duchovny says:

“I wouldn’t go about imitating anyone, but for me it’s about classic rock, the British Invasion, Bob Dylan, Tom Petty, Aimee Mann — you fall in love with certain sounds.”

His two earlier releases (2015’s Hell or Highwater and 2017’s Every Third Thought) were also met with great acclaim, with Duchovny’s music described as “eloquent, alt-rock-kissed country-folk in the vein of Wilco and the Wallflowers,” and his voice described as “he sings with a parched resonance and just a hint of rasp” solidifying him as a musical artist in his own right.

Now, following these releases, both Duchovny and his fans are ready for him to get back on the road to perform the new record live. This special one-night-only show is the ultimate opportunity for fans to witness Duchovny and his band and their musical prowess at their absolute best.
