JUNO Award-nominated alternative-rock band Bleeker is excited to release their highly-anticipated new album Messed Up on June 28th via Known Accomplice / Cadence Music Group on all streaming platforms.

Produced by Brian Moncarz (Alice Cooper, The Tea Party, Our Lady Peace) and the band’s own Chris Dimas (Marissa Burwell, Surf Dads, Flash Back), Messed Up is meticulously constructed. It stands as an exceptionally well-rounded record, staying true to the band’s initial, almost whimsical mission: to create an epic and unapologetic album bursting with hits.

Each song on the 11-track album is uniquely crafted, from the blistering riffs of “Phenomenon” to the introspective ballad “All Downhill From Here” and high-energy songs like “Cool.” The album also includes the band’s past anthemic hits “Make It Better” and “Let’s Go,” which caught the NHL’s attention, recently becoming a staple in the 2024 playoff season soundtrack.

The most recent single, “1998,” captures the nostalgia of the ’90s and living in a carefree, simpler time when everything seemed tangible. The track is currently #18 on the Active Rock radio chart and is continuing to gain momentum.

Taylor Perkins commented:

Messed Up is THE album we’ve wanted to make for awhile now. It’s easily our most authentic writing to date, it’s from the heart, drawn from life and just feels special. We are really proud of it. It may have taken a while to make (and we’re sorry about that) but we all feel like it was worth the wait.”

In addition to the upcoming album release, Bleeker will be kicking off their 2024 Canadian tour with Boston Levi on May 30th in Montreal, QC. The band is guaranteed to win over audiences with their raw talent and magnetic energy, with stops in major Canadian cities such as Ottawa, Toronto, Hamilton and more.
