Today, we premiere the music video for the new single, “Lion’s Den,” from expansively eclectic songwriter, storyteller, and multi-instrumentalist (drummer turned singer), Davey Harris.

“Lions Den,” rides a synthy groove into a psychedelic and metaphorical journey that leaves listeners feeling like they’re floating through the void as literal baby ghost lions.

Commenting on his new singles and video, Harris states:

“Once again I couldn’t help myself but work out my inner psychological issues in my art. This one is about the futility of life and situations where we’ve lost power and feel like all we can do is surrender.”

Harris loves to fight with himself, weaving opposing sonic sentiments. His musical landscapes are clever, vast, diverse, and full of ear parasites. He mixes the autobiographical with the fantastical, sharing commentary on life, love, sex, and dying. Today, Harris leverages music to amplify causes and share stories of significance. Listen carefully and you can hear whispers of subliminal messaging.

Previously, Harris was co-founder and percussionist for the band The Tins, which rose to prominence with their breakout hit, “The Green Room,” and cover of Bruce Springsteen’s “State Trooper.”
