Appalachian troubadour John R. Miller and The Deslondes have confirmed co-headlining tour dates in April. The dates come on the heels of Miller’s upcoming tour of Europe and the UK, which includes headline dates at London’s Slaughtered Lamb and Amsterdam’s Melkweg, as well as support for 11 dates on Tyler Childers’ Mule Pull ’24 Tour.
Miller’s co-headlining tour with The Deslondes will include stops in New York City, Providence, Boston, Rochester, and Toronto. Additionally, Miller’s band has confirmed a headline date at West Virginia’s Mountain Stage and support for Blackberry Smoke’s upcoming Ryman Auditorium show, both in June. John R.
Tickets for John R. Miller and The Deslondes go on sale at 9:00 AM CT/10:00 AM ET on Wednesday, January 24. Tickets for Mountain Stage will go on sale Friday, January 26, at 10:00 AM ET. Other performers on the bill include Jeffrey Martin, Cris Jacobs, and Lindsay Lou.
For Heat Comes Down, which follows up his 2021 Rounder Records debut Depreciated, Miller teamed up with producers Andrija Tokic and John James Tourville (both known for their work with artists like Sunny War and The Deslondes). Heat Comes Down was warmly received by critics upon its release late last year.
