Aussie metalcore behemoths Alpha Wolf have announced their third full length album Half Living Things, will drop on April 5th via Greyscale Records and SharpTone Records. To celebrate the news, the band have also released “Sucks 2 Suck”, a brand new single featuring none other than the legendary Ice-T.

The ultimate fusion of hip hop and metalcore, Sucks 2 Suck is yet another ferocious party-starter from Alpha Wolf HQ, and you can check it out here:

Speaking about the single, vocalist Lochie explained:

“It’s about biting back at anyone saying you didn’t work hard for the shit you have. If you had the ethic and tenacity, you’d have it too, but you suck so you don’t.”

On how the Ice-T collaboration came around, guitarist Scottie explained:

“We decided to shoot for the stars and reach out to Ice-T. We gave him no reference, but he did exactly what we were hoping for! It’s classic.”

Following on from their recent neck-snapping single “Bring Back The Noise”, Alpha Wolf are also currently on the road supporting The Amity Affliction regionally, before headlining the return of their very own festival CVLTFEST in February, alongside Emmure, Crossfaith, Ocean Grove, Paledusk, Ten56., Diamond Construct, Crave Death, and Vilify which will take place at Eatons Hill Hotel, 46 S Pine Road, Eatons Hill, Brisbane on February 24th, 2024.

I have an unhealthy obsession with bad horror movies, the song Wanted Dead Or Alive and crap British game shows. I do this not because of the sex, drugs and rock 'n' roll lifestyle it affords me but more because it gives me an excuse to listen to bands that sound like hippos mating.
