SkyDxddy Embarks on Traumacore Tour; Signs with It Goes Up Entertainment/Compound Interest

With every note and word SkyDxddy shows the world her fiery and resilient spirit. She has paved the way for her independent success using TikTok as a way to share her story with unabashed honesty and a desire to help others and has engaged over 1.4 million followers to date. As the progenitor of the Traumacore movement, she mines life’s darkest moments and pulls out light in the form of soulful and spirited anthems laced with ethereal pop, gritty alt-rock, and story-telling hip-hop.

When asked for her definition of Traumacore, she explains:

“Traumacore is music therapy. It’s a coping mechanism for anyone who’s dealt with trauma and struggles with their mental health. For those hurting so deeply inside that they need a cathartic release and find it within music that contains hard-hitting lyrics that allow the listener to feel all of the emotions that come from the abuse and trauma that they’ve suffered. It’s a community of people who are understanding, empathetic, and considerate of one another. It’s one big chosen family.”

SkyDxddy took to the road on the heels of her recent song and video release “Pretty Distraction.” It has already racked up over 1.5 million streams worldwide and 340,000 views on YouTube in one month since its release.

In addition, she recently signed an exclusive distribution deal with It Goes Up Entertainment. This is the bespoke distribution arm of Strange Music Inc./Compound Interest. She will drop her next song and video, her first with It Goes Up Entertainment/Compound Interest, “7 YEARS” on December 8th. Her much-anticipated forthcoming debut album will arrive in May 2024 in tandem with Mental Health Awareness Month.
