Kalsey Kulyk Releases Her Captivating New Music Video for “Love Me Like an Outlaw”
Up and coming country artist Kalsey Kulyk has released her new music video for her latest single “Love Me Like an Outlaw.”

Kalsey Kulyk has a bonafide hit on her hands with her song “Love Me Like an Outlaw.” It is beautifully produced, perfectly delivered, and poetic country. The song continues to rise at radio week after week, now a Top 30 hit on Canadian country radio. It stands as an unequivocal testament to Kalsey’s brilliance, undeniably marking a defining moment in her career.
Kulyk has now released the official music video for “Love Me Like an Outlaw” – a visual spectacle with a cinematic down-home feel.
Born in Hudson Bay, Saskatchewan, and now based in Beaumont, Alberta, with husband and fellow artist Eric Ethridge and their two-year-old son, Kulyk had been sitting on the track for nearly five years, always believing it was special. Trusting her instincts, she finally released it this summer and has watched it become one of her most successful songs of her career, recently surpassing 600,000 streams. With the support of Canada’s major chains and independent radio stations, the song was the most added Canadian song at country radio last month before hitting the Top 30 this week.
Kulyk comments:
“Sometimes you just got to go with your gut. I’ve heard a lot of ‘nos,’ and ‘you’re a mom, this dream is almost impossible now.’ But like the saying goes, I didn’t come here to leave! As an independent country artist and mom who has been performing since she was three, you are all making that little girl’s dream come true.”
Kulyk will be supporting Drake Milligan next month on his Canadian tour. You can see the dates below.
Kalsey Kulyk has enjoyed a lifelong passion for music. Mixing effortlessly rich and bright vocals with lyrics you feel in the guts, Kulyk brings a fresh yet familiar sound to the country music airwaves. Kulyk got hooked on singing and playing the guitar at a young age. She took part in hundreds of talent shows and competitions and won her first songwriting competition at age 13.
Everything changed in high school when Kalsey was diagnosed with cancer. Instead of hitting pause on her dreams, her journey to recovery created songwriting inspiration. The entire experience solidified Kulyk’s belief in a career in music. More focused than ever, Kalsey enlisted the help of Fleetwood Mac producer Richard Dashut, relocated to Music City, and soon after won both the CCMA’s Discovery Artist program and Anthem Entertainment’s (formerly ole) “On the Spot” competition in one day in 2017. Her debut self-titled album, which delivered impeccable songwriting, classic upbeat country, and heartfelt ballads, premiered at No. 2 in Canada on iTunes/Apple Music. It also earned her a CCMA Award nomination in the Roots Album of the Year category in 2019.
Now, with an arsenal of songs and a survivor’s determination, Kalsey Kulyk is sharing her passions with the world. In remission for 15 years, her goals are clear. “What is life,” she says, “unless you’re doing what you love every single day?”
