LØLØ

Canadian rocker LØLØ, has shared her exhilarating new single ‘faceplant.’ Packed with powerful guitar hooks, dynamic vocals, and witty, charismatic lyricism, “faceplant” effortlessly captures the visceral feeling of falling head over heels into new love.

The track, packed with the kind of glitz and grit that has become a staple of her sound, is accompanied by an equally chaotic music video which you can check out here.

Bringing you inside the inspiration behind the track, LØLØ reveals:

“Something you should know about me is when I fall for someone, I fall HARD. How hard, you ask? Well a few months ago, leaving a boy’s house (who I promised myself multiple times I would never see again) I tripped and fell face first into the concrete, earning me a broken jaw (on both sides), a broken nose, a broken chin, and four lovely stitches across my face. This was the day I realised that I had fallen undeniably & irrevocably in love with him. Actually, no. I didn’t just fall, I faceplanted.”

Earlier this summer, LØLØ shared the scorched earth ex-bashing anthem “hot girls in hell”, her third single release in 2023, joining the emotionally-exhibitionist head banger “omg” and the gritty breakup duet “5,6,7,8 (feat. girlfriends)” with lead singer Travis Mills. She took the stage at the Slam Dunk Festival and Rock For People Festival, before supporting Sueco and MOD SUN on their UK & EU tour dates.

“faceplant” comes in the midst of LØLØ’s 31-date North American tour with Boys Like Girls and State Champs, before continuing directly into a UK/European tour supporting Against The Current.

I have an unhealthy obsession with bad horror movies, the song Wanted Dead Or Alive and crap British game shows. I do this not because of the sex, drugs and rock 'n' roll lifestyle it affords me but more because it gives me an excuse to listen to bands that sound like hippos mating.
