Lovely little Girls, the Chicago-based art-rock group, have announced that they will be releasing ‘Effusive Supreme,’ on August 18th, 2023.
Lovely Little Girls, the Chicago Based art-rock group, has announced that they will release Effusive Supreme, via Skin Graft Records, on August 18th. Recorded by Todd Rittmann, Effusive Supreme is coming out as a Color Vinyl edition with a Full-Color Lyric Sheet and Japan-style Footlong OBI in a resealable Crystal Clear Sleeve. The ten-track LP is the band’s third career release, and presale orders are now available here.
Effusive Supreme delves into more personal and abstract territory, highlighting the utilitarian and fetishistic relationship to shoes on one track while enthusiastically accepting ego- death’s indifferent embrace on the next. Equally informed by Magma and Dead Kennedys, Lovely Little Girls pull from a range that runs the gamut yards past the finish line – everything from Esquivel to Toto.
