The Trews Release “Peace Jam” Single and Kick Off Tour

Award-winning band The Trews released their new single “Peace Jam” via Cadence Music Group and all streaming platforms. The track was recorded at Halo Studio in downtown Hamilton, ON and was written by the band and produced by Mark Howard (Bob Dylan, U2, Tragically Hip, Neil Young) and John-Angus MacDonald.

Colin MacDonald of The Trews remarks:

“The anthemic track is about coming together in the hard times, singing through the uncertainty and not giving into despair. It’s about a band trying to make the world a better place in its own little way, even when things feel hopeless. For us music has always been the antidote for chaos and uncertainty. The title comes from a gig we used to play in Niagara Falls back in the old days, at a wine bar called after hours that our good friend Nathan called ‘Peace Jam’”

In addition to the new single release, The Trews are also setting out on tour across Canada this summer. The tour will begin on June 16th in Niagara-On-The-Lake, ON, for a sold-out show at the Jackson Triggs Amphitheatre. The tour will have multiple stops around Canada, including London, ON, at Rock The Park on July 12th and will finish up in Kitchener, ON, at Bingemans Oktoberfest on September 29th.
