Snoop Dogg and Thirteen Thousand Friends Get Lit at Leeds First Direct Arena [Photos]
Hip-hop superstar Snoop Dogg and friends D12 and Versatile rolled into Leeds for a wild night at the FD Arena. Check out the photos here…
It’s hard to believe that it has been over three years since this tour was first announced. So, having finally made it to the UK, hip-hop icon Snoop Dogg would make sure that, when they woke up the next morning, this sold-out crowd was left with a hazy recollection of a wild night spent in the company of a true superstar of the entertainment world.
Joining Snoop Dogg on the trek were Irish duo Versatile and fellow US hip-hop stars D12. As a taster for the main event, both acts, from the agitated street hip-hop of the Dubliners to D12 and their armoury of polished hip-hop anthems like “Pistol Pistol,” knew how to work this crowd up ready for the Master himself.
Now, considering the status of the headliner, it comes as no surprise that the Snoop Dogg party is like no other. From pole dancers to joint-smoking, this was everything you could want from a party with Snoop. “Who wants to get drunk with Snoop tonight?” he asked the crowd at one point. The response from this lit crowd was a resounding yes, and, with that, Snoop lit up another joint as you just knew that any plans for a productive Tuesday after this was about to go right out of the window.
