Centershift debuts their new and third single, “And So…,” featuring Tallulah Swasey of Grumpy Plum. The track, which can be heard below, follows the band’s previous singles “9” and “My Own World.” Centershift might be a new name to most, but that doesn’t mean these musicians haven’t paid their dues. In fact, this is the latest project from Onesidezero vocalist and guitarist Jasan Radford.

Commenting on the new tune, Radford states:

“‘And So…’ describes an awakening. The narrator realizes the choices and anger in his life have brought him to this point in time. From falling, the change begins, And So… on to the next chapter.”

For those not familiar with Onesidezero, it was in 2001 that the group dropped what VH1 dubbed one of the 12 most underrated nu-metal albums. As such, per a recent press release, in some ways, this latest project “has been a band in-the-making since the mid-’90s when . . .Radford started Onesidezero (Maverick Records). During the early-’00s rock radio craze, they played with System Of A Down, Static-X, [and] Incubus.”

Centershift is rounded out by drummer Mike Tarabotto, bassist Ted Wenri, and guitarist Ryan Shane Stuber. Speaking of the band and their writing enegergy, Radford adds:

“Over the years, we got together, formulated songs and always knew we wanted to play together. Finally, through the stars aligning, we created Centershift. Though the band has a long history, this incarnation is brimming with new ideas. We were going to call the band ONE, but felt that was too much [like] ONESIDEZERO. It was time to write something fresh and new.”

Get stoked on the music, expect more to come and, in the words of the band themselves, “Centershift represents hope for emotional unity in a world divided.”
