Philadelphia Fuzz Fiends The Stone Eye Keep Rockin’ with “The Quarantine Sessions”
Philadelphia, PA-based fuzz-fuelled rockers, The Stone Eye are fresh off the February 28th release of their thirteen-track album, Ventura, via Electric Talon Records. Now, making up for the fact that their tour supporting the new release was cancelled due to COVID-19, the band—Stephen Burdick (guitar, vocals, keys), Jeremiah Bertin (drums), Christian Mechem (guitar), and Wolfgang Noll (bass)—has unveiled “The Quarantine Sessions.”
Says the group, “‘The Quarantine Sessions’ is (partially) what it sounds like. Once a week until May 8th on any given Friday at 11 AM EST we premier a live stream of us doing a 5 song set. Each set includes 5 different songs. In addition, once the videos are completed we are planning on releasing the entirety of the sessions in digital album format. Just an hour ago we premiered episode 2- I will attach the remainder of the schedule below.”
Upcoming Episodes:
04/24: Episode 3. 11 AM EST.
05/01: Episode 4. 11 AM EST.
05/08: Episode 5. 11 AM EST.
