Brooklyn Trio Daddy Long Legs Confirm Early 2020 UK & IRE Tour
With glowing reviews from the likes of Lenny Kaye, Jon Spencer, and Rolling Stone, you’d be silly to miss the chance to see Brooklyn, NY trio Daddy Long Legs perform live. Now, fans in the UK and Ireland need to take note as the band have confirmed an early 2020 trek with dates throughout January and February.
The group, which consists of musicians Brian Hurd (vocals, harmonica, guitar), Murat Akturk (slide guitar), and Josh Styles (drums, maracas), will hop the pond in continued support of their May 10, 2019 release, Lowdown Ways (Yep Roc Records). The twelve-track recording was produced by Jimmy Sutton and engineered by Alex Hall (JD McPherson, Pokey LaFarge, Jake La Botz) at Chicago’s Hi-Style Studios.
Recently, When asked by Village Voice “Daddy Long Legs?,” Hurd said, “Rock and roll salvation through the spirit of roots and blues.”
