HELLYEAH Release New Single “Perfect” from ‘Welcome Home’ and Raise Awareness of Heart Disease
Heavy metal supergroup HELLYEAH have released their new song “Perfect,” from their new Eleven Seven Music album Welcome Home; they’ve also teamed with the American Heart Association to raise awareness of heart disease.
Heavy metal supergroup HELLYEAH have released their new song “Perfect,” the fourth single taken from their sixth studio album, Welcome Home, due on September 27th through Eleven Seven Music. The new album is monumental for the fact that it features the final recordings of the late Vinnie Paul, the material he recorded prior to his passing last June. The album will feature eleven crushing new tracks that are driven by the rest of the band’s love, loyalty, reverence, and respect for their fallen brother. It also features the Active Rock Radio hit “Oh My God,” which has turned into one of the most popular songs of their illustrious career. You can pre-order the album here.
With only a few dates left on their current “A Celebration of Life” tour, there will be a special hometown celebration show happening on August 17th in Dallas, Texas. A portion of ticket sales for the tour are being donated to the American Heart Association to help raise early awareness of heart disease, which claimed Paul’s life at the age of 54. As a result of Paul’s passing, the rest of the band have turned towards healthier lifestyles. “Vinnie’s passing was a wake-up call for us all,” said guitarist Tom Maxwell. Heart disease remains the number one cause of death, around the world. As a result of the severity of the disease, HELLYEAH are encouraging early detection to help save lives and in the process, they are changing their own ways to set an example for others. The hope is to raise over 10,000 dollars for the AHA by the end of the tour.
