Toronto’s Sludgehammer are ready to return to Western Canada this summer with the “Hammering Westward Tour”, taking place in June. The tour will also include a performance at this year’s Decimate MetalFest, taking place in Calgary on June 8th. The band will be supported on some dates with Regina’s groove metallers Kelevra.

Sludgehammer’s debut record The Fallen Sun came out in 2016 and features the now fan favourites “Carrion Eater” and “Demons From The Woodwork.” Fans will have the opportunity to see new lead singer Josh Stephney in action, along with bassist Dan Ayers.

The band comments, “We are absolutely thrilled to be finally heading out and doing some shows in Western Canada. We are looking forward to seeing old friends, meeting new ones and making awesome memories. Hope to see all you crazy metalheads out there…let’s have some fun!”
