The California-based surf/garage rock three-piece that is The Captain’s Son will be headed towards Austin, Texas come March so we’re helping them promote the good times with a premiere of the new single “Mind, Body and Gold”.

In fact, the song is the first of five to be released off an upcoming EP dubbed Shade. So, hit play, groove away, and get ready for another track to drop in exactly two weeks from today!

Commenting collectively on the new single, the trip noted: “The lyrics are very direct and kind of describes a distressed, younger, confused couple but could definitely work for all relationships. Young couple has dumb love and a passion for the genuine ’cause there ‘ain’t nothin’ like the real thing.'”
