Pierce the Veil and Sum 41 hit New York at The Paramount for their co-headlining “We Will Detonate” tour on May 7th. First band up was Chapel, a two-piece indie band that, whilst being a little different than the others in he line-up, got the crowd amped and ready for a great night to come. Second on the bill was hardcore band Emarosa. You could not keep your eyes off of them; singer Bradley Walden kept the crowd interested by jumping in to sing with them and kept them engaged even while on stage.
Next up was Sum 41. They started the night playing some new songs off of 13 voices. These guys have just recently come back into the touring loop, but you would never know by how well they played. Last up this night was Pierce The Veil. They started the night playing “Texas is Forever”, after their big reveal from behind a drop away curtain. They went on to sing favorites like “Dive In” and “Hold on Till May”. This show was a dream for any punk rock and hardcore fans out there.
