Hold’em – “Bender” [Song Review]
Grab a bottle from behind the bar, run out into the snow, and pass out with this fire in your ears!
What would southern Ontario rock sound like if it was Every Time I Die?
This song.
This is the kind of sound I wouldn’t be bummed out by if all rock and roll ended up sounding like it for the next decade or so. It’s a concoction of turpentine, fat-ass tones, and whiskey; a heady brew, and one that you’ll find yourself going back to over and over again. This song is a revelation, a blueprint that other bands might inevitably start to follow. You heard it here first: Wellington County just gave birth to a band that’s putting rough-ass tones on a level.
Grab a bottle from behind the bar, run out into the snow, and pass out with this fire in your ears!
Run Time: 3:28
Release Date: February 4, 2016
