The Skinny: Danko Jones have just announced international tour dates and the first single from their upcoming LP Fire Music titled “Do You Wanna Rock”. The band will kick of the Canadian leg of their tour in Winnipeg on April 9 and hit several cities in Saskatchewan, Alberta, British Columbia and Ontario including a date at Danforth Music Hall in Toronto on April 24.
Lauded as one of the band’s catchiest tracks to date, “Do You Wanna Rock” features Danko’s smooth talking alter ego ‘The Mango Kid’. A video for the single filmed in Toronto will be released at the end of this month. Produced by JUNO Award winning Eric Ratz (Billy Talent, Monster Truck, Metric) the band’s 7th studio LP features 11 fresh tracks and will be released via New Damage Records on February 10, 2015.
