DEAD LETTER CIRCUS Can See Through You to “The Real You” in Their New Music Video
Aussie alt-rock band Dead Letter Circus have returned with their latest music video for “The Real You,” the first track to be revealed from their new self-titled studio album.
Aussie alt-rock band Dead Letter Circus have returned with their latest music video for “The Real You,” the first track to be revealed from their new self-titled studio album. At the bottom of the music video is the question, who is the real you? The band members drew inspiration for the writing of this song through the idea of self-perception in an age of social media. Regarding the song, frontman Kim Benzie briefly commented, “The Real You’ was me absorbing the cultural changes that have grown around social media. Life should be a journey towards letting go of the mask you create with your insecurities when you’re young.”
