Phinehas have finally announced their touring plans for this summer. In addition to appearing on some of the Vans Warped Tour, the band will also head out on a two week run of headlining shows with Earth Groans in July. The band’s latest Solid State Records album Dark Flag came out last fall.
“We are so honored and blessed to be apart of the final Vans Warped Tour,” said singer Sean McCulloch. “This tour has had a massive impact on our community and we are humbled to get to help send it off. After that, we will be playing some headlining shows with our good friends in Earth Groans. We can’t wait to see you this summer and spend these moments with you. See you soon!”
Dark Flag is a concept record that was inspired by the atrocities committed by the Kim regime in North Korea. With North Korea constantly making headlines these days, this is a very pertinent album appropriate for the times as they are. Commented lead singer Sean McCulloch, “This album isn’t a political statement. This isn’t a conservative or liberal agenda. Dark Flag is about human rights and how precious and valuable life is.”
