Meridius – “Speed Kills” [SoundCloud Song Stream]
B.C. based thrash and groove metal band, Meridius bring forth their auditory assault with the release of their first single “Speed Kills” – listen here!
The Skinny: B.C. based thrash and groove metal band, Meridius (named after Russell Crowe’s character in Gladiator) bring forth their auditory assault with the release of their first single “Speed Kills” from their upcoming self-titled debut EP due out March 20th.
“We’re excited to release our first single, we hope you enjoy listening to it as much as we enjoyed making it. Mosh to it. Drink to it. Love it.” comments bassist Peter Riemann. This raw, heavy thrash, melodic, groovy five piece are continuously writing material and staying true to the metal forefathers. With past members hailing from bands full of speed (Howler), progressive (Equestrian Lord), and power metal bands, Meridius’ metal embodies the intensity of aggression and pure mayhem both on stage and in studio.
Meridius Track Listing:
01. Speed Kills
02. Walk The Plank
03. Conquer The Throne
