Slayer @ The Theater in Madison Square Garden (New York, NY) on November 27, 2013 [Photos]
Slayer and Gojira seem to be as good a pair as peanut butter and jelly… well… maybe not to that degree, but it’s close. They both played to a sold out crowd but it was Slayer that seemed to be living a block or so from the fountain of youth.
Slayer and Gojira seem to be as good a pair as peanut butter and jelly… well… maybe not to that degree, but it’s close. They both played to a sold out crowd but it was Slayer that seemed to be living a block or so from the fountain of youth. Headbanging crowd, mosh pit, beverage spraying all took place on the eve before Thanksgiving (US Holiday of course) at the world’s most famous area, Madison Square Garden. It was an interesting dynamic seeing metal heads closer to my age (44) if not slightly older with, in some cases… their sons rockin’ back and forth!
