Life On The Sideline – “Malone Avenue” [Free Song Download]
All five members found that they shared the same mindset for music and they quickly released their first single “To Whom It May Concern” which received some positive reaction.
In the Fall of 2011, vocalist Nick DiCiancia and guitarist Ralph Gaudette started to grow tired of the lack of dedication of past band members. They grew so tired that the two musicians decided to start anew after meeting through a chance encounter through a Craigslist advertisement. Shortly after meeting, Craigslist helped to round out the rest of the band members as they found their drummer Joe Bonitatebus, bassist Eddie Leahy and second guitarist Steve York. All five members found that they shared the same mindset for music and they quickly released their first single “To Whom It May Concern” which received some positive reaction.
After a successful summer of playing and getting to know each other, the band went into the studio to record their EP Outpatient. Featuring upbeat guitar riffs and aggressive vocals, the EP has defined Life on the Sideline as more than just your average local band. As the word has continued to spread, the group has found some supporting slots with a few nationally touring bands like State Champs and Forever Came Calling, With the Punches, City Lights and more. With things only seemingly getting better, Life on the Sideline are expecting to put out their debut record in 2013.
