On Friday, January 8th @ 8p.m. at the Steve Allen Theater in Los Angeles, thrash metal fans will have the unique opportunity to attend an exclusive, advanced screening of footage from the first Exodus DVD, ‘Shovel Headed Tour Machine: Live At Wacken & Other Assorted Atrocities’, a three-disc package of 2 DVDs plus a live audio CD scheduled for North American release on January 12, 2010. Special guests for the evening are the members of Exodus.
Brendon Small of Dethklok/Metalocalypse, the evening’s host, shares his thoughts on the upcoming event: “It will be an honor to sit with one of the best thrash bands of all time and bother them with half baked questions and vagaries. But seriously, between now and this event, I hope to write and choreograph a belabored and embarrassing dance routine with [Exodus singer] Rob Dukes. I am looking forward to it!!!”
Tickets are $10.00 and will include a free Nuclear Blast grab bag plus raffle entry for the following prizes:
– 1st Prize: An ESP Guitar autographed by Exodus.
– 2nd Prize: 2 tickets to the upcoming Exodus show Feb. 9th at House Of Blues, Hollywood.
– 3rd Prize: Autographed promotional ‘Shovel Headed Tour Machine: Live At Wacken DVD’.
Advanced tickets to the premiere can be purchased through the Steve Allen Theater HERE. Space is limited; early arrival is STRONGLY encouraged. All fans in attendance will have the opportunity to purchase the Shovel Headed Tour Machine DVD for $30.00.
A limited edition bundle (DVD, exclusive event shirt, patch) that INCLUDES a Meet & Greet ticket for January 8th is available via the official Exodus Online Store for $40.00. The DVD, shirt, and patch will be sold together the night of the event for $45.00. Only 144 exclusive event shirts have been printed. Once they’re gone, they’re gone.
The Question-and-Answer session for the evening will be videotaped and posted online. Fans who cannot attend the event are encouraged to submit their questions for the band via their MySpace page. Exodus are currently in the studio recording ‘The Atrocity Exhibition: Exhibit B’. View their in-studio web streams at: www.nuclearblastusa.com/exodus.
