Following the announcement of their upcoming LP Wilting, due to drop June 7th, 2024, Psychic Graveyard, comprised of the minds of groups like Arab On Radar, Chinese Stars, Doomsday Student, Some Girls and All Leather, share their next single, “Sword Through My Neck.”
The band wants to encourage everyone to:
“So, grab a styrofoam cup of coffee, pull up a folding chair, and dive into “Sword Through My Neck.”
Speaking on the inspiration behind the track, “I have a son who is on the autism spectrum, so I’m part of a support group for parents like me. We support each other as we navigate the challenges of ASD.”
The song’s lyrics draw inspiration from discussions within their group. The accompanying video for “Sword Through My Neck,” in true Psychic Graveyard fashion, is incredibly surreal, featuring a repeating set of jaws singing the tune.
