Maybug Releases New Single “I Couldn’t Tell You”
Maybug, the brainchild of musician Joseph Dunn, is captivating audiences once again with their latest single, “I Couldn’t Tell You”—a tonally satisfying track with an honest character of folk rock feel.
Dunn’s musical journey began at the young age of 9 when he picked up the classical guitar, receiving formal training until he turned 16. Drawing inspiration from his father’s diverse CD collection spanning decades of music, Dunn ventured into songwriting and open mic performances, embarking on a musical odyssey across South England’s vibrant music scene.
At age 17, Dunn crossed paths with drummer Danny Brooks, igniting a creative spark that birthed Maybug in his father’s garage. Now, after 15 years, Maybug continues to evolve, with singles like “I Couldn’t Tell You” marking their latest offering. True to their organic approach, the band comprised of Dunn, Brooks, and their bassist Petter (aka Butcher Pete) crafts raw, heartfelt music, blending Dunn’s poignant lyrics with dynamic instrumentation.
Listen to Maybug’s new single “I Couldn’t Tell You”—now streaming everywhere.
