Bristol punk/noise rock quartet Heavy Lungs start the year as they mean to go on today by announcing a run of April 2024 UK headline tour dates.
Bristol punk/noise rock quartet Heavy Lungs start the year as they mean to go on today by announcing a run of April 2024 UK headline tour dates, with tickets on sale at 10 am, Friday 16th February 2024 and will be available here.
Commenting on the dates, the band said:
“The spring will be springing and our ears are still ringing. Soon yours will be as well, because your boiz are back on the road in the UK. We’re hitting up some cities we’ve never played before which is terribly exciting. We won’t stop until we’ve covered every single sweaty corner of this island.”
To celebrate the news, the four-piece has revealed a video for the latest single, “Plagiarism,” which is taken from their critically acclaimed 2023 debut album, All Gas No Brakes, out now via Alcopop! Records.
Of the concept for the visuals, the band comment:
“This video for “Plagiarism” is in no way a playful reference to a film by a famous artist whose name rhymes with Randy Pothole. That would be way too on the nose and when did Heavy Lungs ever do anything like that? Filmed and edited by our very own George Garratt. Special thanks to James Maclucas, Rosie Lea, and Rich Wilks.”
Recorded at Holy Mountain Studios with additional production at Humm Studios by producer Chris Fullard and assistant engineer Stanley Gravett, Heavy Lungs’ debut album, All Gas No Brakes, was mastered by Adam Gonsalves at Telegraph Audio.
