Suffocate Faster Release Hardcore EP ‘This is The Way’ Vol 1
Suffocate Faster rejoin forces for their first EP since 2006, ‘This is The Way Vol 1,’ out now via Smartpunk Records.
Hardcore band Suffocate Faster are rejoining forces for their first EP release since 2006 with the release of This is the Way Vol. 1. The dual-track collection is concise as it fervently delivers the passion, aggression, progressive lyricism, and full-throttle energy that hardcore fans yearn for. It also embodies the band’s mission to share positive, cathartic commentary on mental health, the straight-edge lifestyle, and distrust in the government. The release spotlights the newest track, “Strength,” which encompasses the band’s purpose and uncovers the meaning behind the EP title.
As the title suggests, this is part one amongst more new music from Suffocate Faster to be expected in 2023 via Smartpunk Records.
The band commented on the common thread of straight-edge amongst the band and their message:
“Straight Edge has been a big part of our lives for so long. Nothing has changed. We speak for a small group of individuals that hold strong and keep sobriety close to their hearts. This is the way.”
