Pitchfork Music Festival London Announces Second Wave of 2024 Acts

Hot off the release of her critically acclaimed album, Here in the Pitch (scoring 8.8 on Pitchfork’s Best New Music), US songwriter Jessica Pratt will headline The Barbican on Wednesday, 6 November. Alan Sparhawk (of Low) opens this special double bill, bringing his hymnal melodies to the auditorium. The performance marks his first solo show in London.
Over at The Garage on the same date, Brooklyn power-pop collective Charly Bliss will headline a raucous night with rising alt-rock acts Aziya and Meagre Martin.
New additions to previously announced events include the composer, songwriter and actor Keeley Forsyth, Yasmin Williams and Rachael Lavelle, who will join Grammy award-winning artist and composer Arooj Aftab at The Roundhouse for a specially curated multi-bill on Thursday, 7 November.
Ninja Tune-signed Fcukers and Madrid-based DORA open the night for Empress Of at Fabric on Thursday, 7 November, with electronic innovator Alice Glass and Kiss Facility joining the bill alongside Sega Bodega at HERE at Outernet on Friday, 8 November.
Finally, claire rousay, Abby Sage, Geordie Greep, Font, Wishy, voyeur, Eterna and Hannah Frances will all perform at the Dalston Takeover on Saturday, 9 November, playing across some of East London’s most treasured venues.
Tickets for the festival are selling quickly across the board, and the remaining tickets are on sale now, with all new events going on sale this Friday at 10 am.
The festival will announce its final additions and special guests in the coming weeks.
Previously announced events include Tierra Whack, Arooj Aftab, CASISDEAD, Kae Tempest, Sega Bodega, Mabe Fratti, Billy Woods, Empress Of, Moor Mother, Drugdealer, Snow Strippers, Shame, Marika Hackman, Still House Plants, and many more. This year’s Inner City Festival event series is set to be the biggest yet, illuminating the capital over six days with the hottest new and established artists across an array of genres.
