TX2, aka Evan Thomas is back with his new single “Burn”. The single, which sees the singer uncover a deep, emotional wound, heralds the start of a new chapter in his life: one where he won’t apologize for being his most authentic self as, through his unique vision and lethal lyrics, the singer is exactly where he needs to be: rising above internet bullies and critics.

TX2 shares of the new track:

“This year I will have my revenge, and I wanted to start this year at the source. The goal for this song was to write the most intense/rage-filled track that I possibly could, all it takes is one listen to understand. I’ve never felt more anger in my life while writing a song, and for anyone in their revenge era- I’m sure this track will hit hard.”

Rising out of Fort Collins, TX2 prides himself on injecting authentic stories and experiences from his own life into his lyrics. TX2’s music, explosive performances and powerful lyrics have fed the growth of the “X-Movement”, a safe space where fans can talk, vent, and share their feelings knowing that they’re not alone in their struggles.

A member of the LGBTQIA+ community himself, he admits he hasn’t always fit in. His songs document that experience, but really – his stories are about all of us, penned for anyone who has ever felt alone. Per usual – the singer is willing to cause a little chaos with his new track, if that’s what it takes to draw attention to important societal issues. With his new track, he’s making his voice heard loud and clear.

I have an unhealthy obsession with bad horror movies, the song Wanted Dead Or Alive and crap British game shows. I do this not because of the sex, drugs and rock 'n' roll lifestyle it affords me but more because it gives me an excuse to listen to bands that sound like hippos mating.
