Tiana Kocher Premieres Her Hopeful New Single “Love U More”

It’s a day of triumph today for Tiana Kocher, for it is that day when she can feel proud of all of her hard work paying off. Today marks the reveal of her new single, “Love U More,” ahead of the official release tomorrow of her long-awaited new EP up to you.

It’s been a steady path forward for the young artist since the 2019 release of her debut single, “Just My Type.” And now, here she finds herself on the precipice of some very significant career milestones, all at a very young age. Along with the release of up to you, Kocher has her own merchandise line in the works. The line is inspired by her music, along with the development of a women’s writing camp intended to empower women in music to collaborate and work together.

“I am in a much different place in my life compared to where I was three years ago when I released my first project. You can definitely hear that within the EP.”

Kocher is happy with where she stands with her career, and she is hopeful for the future. Elaborating on her growth and the up to you EP, she states:

“It has been three years since I released my last project. I thought now was the perfect time to release a brand new EP. I’ve definitely grown and been able to cultivate my sound a little further, so I am so excited to the new EP, up to you, with all my fans and future listeners.

“I am in a much different place in my life compared to where I was three years ago when I released my first project. You can definitely hear that within the EP. This release is much more ‘open’ and ‘bright’ compared to my last one, but still full of storytelling; just in a much happier place! All these songs were not written with a project in mind. Rather, I was writing these songs over a two year period. When it was time for me to conceptualize the project, I felt that these five songs worked best together. They are a prime example as to where I am, not only in my life, but also where my artistry is.

It’s been about five years since Kocher relocated to Los Angeles to help her musical career. No question it has certainly been a worthwhile decision. Her music has found its way into commercials for Cîroc Vodka, and she has worked with the GRAMMY-nominated producer Leon “RoccStar” Youngblood.

Along the way, she has also written and recorded with TLC, Faith Evans, Sage the Gemini, Latin reggaeton performer J. Álvarez, and R&B mainstay Bobby V. Such success is not exactly much of a surprise for someone who attended the prestigious Cambridge School of Visual and Performing Arts in England. It was here that she realized that music was her passion and would be her career. It’s been an impressive rise for Kocher, and it seems like only more good things await her.
