Slim Cessna’s Auto Club Begins 2023 European Tour!

The legendary Denver-based dark-folk formation Slim Cessna’s Auto Club starts their European tour with the opening show in Berlin’s Badehaus on June 28th.

Commenting on the upcoming tour, Slim Cessna says:

“We are thankful to be able to return to Europe. It has been too long. Thank you for considering us over your favorite television show. It is a privilege to entertain you. This is family. This is important.”

Originating from local DIY punk roots, Slim Cessna’s Auto Club has become influential and visually striking fixtures in the Denver art community for over 30 years. Their desire to get outside of a singer-songwriter archetype mixed with the contextualization significantly affected dark folk as it is today. While the members of Auto Club share their roles in Munly & The Lupercalians and DBUK, exploring the magic world of Lupercalia in different aspects, the energetics of all three projects is very different.
