Check Out Daniel de Boer’s Debut Album and “Fly Away” Music Video

Continuing to support his new album, not to mention the recent music video for the album’s first single, “Fly Away,” it’s time you got to know Dutch bassist and singer Daniel de Boer. The above-mentioned video was created with Spanish director Jep Jorba (who previously worked with artists like Snarky Puppy, Becca Stevens and Michael League).

Daniel de Boer worked many years as a freelance musician and composer (including for the Metropole Orchestra, the Celebrity Edge Theatre Ensemble and Holland Opera) before his desire to start his own project brought him to Berklee College of Music in Valencia, Spain.

There, Daniel was able to realize his dream of composing and recording his own album, which he made together with Indian producer Shakthi Prasad. With a diverse band of rocking musicians, he is now presenting to the world his music, an eclectic mix of cultures and styles that come together in the pop idiom. Music, that is, in short: world pop.

His debut album, Out of Shadows, features musicians from thirteen different countries, and instruments like the oud, diatonic accordion, oriental percussion and Lyra are part of the album’s unique and powerful sound.
