Toronto, Canada’s emo-laced alternative group fivesome, V For Mania just unveiled the music video for their new single, “It Hurts To Live.” The song, which was produced and recorded by Andre Kaden Black and Tal Vaisman, is lifted from the band’s self-titled EP, which dropped on September 17th. The Waqas Bin Idrees-produced and Jared Valkki-directed and edited video is the group’s first in four years.
The band, which consists of Daniel Kiteman (vox), Francisco Flores (lead guitar), Joe Galbrand (screams/bass), Brandon Borg (drums), and Marco De Leon (rhythm guitar), says the video, “explores the ideas about whether or not life is truly worth living. The final product provides a stark contrast between shots of natural green scenery, embellishments, along with gorgeous ancient architecture, and also shows the darker sides of life, including a scene where lead singer, Daniel Kiteman, appears to jump off a bridge into a murkey, yet mesmerizing lake below.”
