Intimate Final Fantasy Musings Playing in Select Venues Worldwide in Early 2020
On January 17th, 2020, music from the beloved Final Fantasy franchise will make its first stop of the New Year in Kansas City, MO. AWR Music Productions, the producers of the live orchestra Distant Worlds: Music From Final Fantasy, are presenting a more intimate music experience with A New World: Intimate Music From Final Fantasy. A New World is a more stripped-down version compared to the majesty and power of the symphony orchestra displayed with Distant Worlds.
These new arrangements are written by Arnie Roth and Eric Roth of AWR Music Productions, the same team behind the symphony orchestra demonstrations, with additional arrangements by Shiro Hamaguchi, Nobuo Uematsu’s longtime collaborator on the Final Fantasy video game soundtrack recordings. The arrangements feature string quartets, piano and guitar solos, duos, trios, and many other mixed groups of instruments to immerse the listener in a more immediate and personal involvement.
Below is a list of additional tour dates that have been announced. Be sure to catch the event if it is happening near you as it will definitely be an unforgettable experience for Final Fantasy and Classical music fans alike. Ticket information here and music on Bandcamp here — Volume II was released May 7th, 2019.
