Formed in 2010, Jimmy at the Prom is a Milwaukee, WI based rock band that just finished recording their first full-length album on their own label Gorp Music. The band takes an angular approach at combining the intricacies of hard progressive rock with pop melodies. Think Radiohead meets Tool.
The Skinny: Formed in 2010, Jimmy at the Prom is a Milwaukee, WI based rock band that just finished recording their first full-length album on their own label Gorp Music. The band takes an angular approach at combining the intricacies of hard progressive rock with pop melodies. Think Radiohead meets Tool. With the album recorded at the Riverside Theater, J@TP worked with LA producer and engineer Randy Emata (The Memorials, G3) to mix and master one of the songs.
