Extreme metal’s most infamous act, Cradle Of Filth, has teamed up with America’s horror magazine, Fangoria, to premiere the band’s latest music video for the new track, “Forgive Me Father (I Have Sinned)”. The video was directed by Dani Jacobs, and the song comes from the forthcoming full-length, ‘Darkly, Darkly, Venus Aversa,’ to be released on Nuclear Blast Records on November 9th.

In the words of Cradle’s iconic frontman, Dani Filth, the band’s ninth studio album is their “most sinister and darkened fairytale.” The music video for “Forgive Me Father (I Have Sinned)”, the album’s first single, does nothing to dispute that statement. Head over to Fangoria.com now to see for yourself.

The Grammy nominated, Cradle Of Filth, continues to shock, excite, disgust and inspire in equal measures. A loyal stalwart to the satanic horror ethos, ‘Darkly, Darkly, Venus Aversa’ is a concept album based on Adam’s first wife, the lascivious demoness Lilith. It was recorded at Monkey Puzzle Studios, near Bury St. Edmunds in Suffolk, England, and is the follow-up to 2008’s ‘Godspeed On The Devil’s Thunder.’ Artwork comes courtesy of Natalie Shau.

A preview of a new track from ‘Darkly, Darkly, Venus Aversa,’ “The Cult Of Venus Aversa,” is now streaming on the album’s mini-site at: www.peaceville.com/cradleoffilth.
