Dr. Dog is thrilled to premiere their much-anticipated Anti-Records debut ‘Shame, Shame’ today, Monday, March 29th on NPR’s First Listen. Fans can hear the record in its entirety one week before the album’s April 6th release RIGHT HERE.

The Philadelphia quintet will return to Late Night with Jimmy Fallon on April 6th and premiere first single “Stranger”, which Filter Magazine hails as “an addictive pop rock single.” Soon after, Dr. Dog will embark on a 8-week headlining tour beginning April 14th in Toronto, Ontario and are excited to introduce these new songs, which Billboard Magazine praises as their “most captivating yet,” to fans. Along the way, Dr. Dog will make their Jimmy Kimmel Live! debut April 27th and return to the Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival on June 11th.

‘Shame, Shame’, is already catching the attention of many. Spin Magazine raves “Dr. Dog produce a clean, big-sounding album that uncannily evokes Summerteeth-era Wilco and Soft Bulletin-era Flaming Lips” and turn it “into their own distinctive mix of exuberance and melancholia.” People Magazine goes on to say Dr. Dog’s “slightly nostalgic, classic rock inflected brand of indie-pop is addictive” and Filter Magazine applauds the albums ability to “point back to the days of 2005’s ‘Easy Beat’, when the band’s highly-prized live sound was somehow captured, reverted and translated accurately to tape.” Relix Magazine simply says, “‘Shame, Shame’ is the band’s best record.”
