On February 12th K Será’s new single “Me Before Women And Children” will be available for download on the main page of Pure Volume.com. The band molds their dark and melodic indie rock with peaks of guitars, piano and voice. The material was recorded at Casey Bates studio in Seattle (Thomas Dutton (of Forgive Durden) Produced and Casey Bates (Chiodos, Portugal The Man, Fear Before, etc) with Bates himself mixing. The song will make an appearance on the band’s upcoming album ‘Smile For The Inevitable’ to be released in April.
The album is me telling the story of how I spent the last year or so of my life. K Será’s Singer Mike Caswell explains. “It is about learning that there are things in life that you just can’t change and my journey to be able to accept that. You have to be happy with what you have. Speaking on the band’s sound Caswell remarked: “We just want to write interesting music. These songs were proof to us that you can write catchy and memorable songs without having to water down the musicianship.” The album also features guest spots from Thomas Dutton, Zack Gray from Early States (Wind Up Records), and Nate Richardson from Mozart Season.
