New York-based, Black Gold, have been on the road non-stop since the release of their debut, ‘Rush’, in 2009. With high-profile appearances at All Points West, SXSW and opening for The Pixies, Neko Case, The Scissor Sisters and The Hold Steady, the duo led by Eric Ronick (lead vocals/keyboards) and Than Luu (drums/vocals) have announced their first run of dates for the new year. Black Gold will showcase their blend of “sweeping orchestral rock” (SPIN) on the road with California indie outfit, Sherwood, kicking off February 17th at The Roxy in Los Angeles.

Black Gold have also premiered their latest video for new single, “Shine”, on AOL Spinner today – CLICK HERE. The single will be included in the soundtrack for the upcoming feature film, Valentine’s Day, starring Julia Roberts, Bradley Cooper, Anne Hathaway and Jamie Foxx among others. The soundtrack hits stores February 9th, a few days prior to the film.
