Goddamn Wolves Howl on Their “Older, Slower” b/w “Everything Real Is Free” Single Premiere
Raleigh, North Carolina, indie rock three-piece Goddamn Wolves are premiering their track “Older, Slower,” which is bundled with the song “Everything Real Is Free,” due January 5th.
Today we’ve got the debut of the new single from Raleigh, North Carolina, indie rock three-piece Goddamn Wolves. The band is premiering their track “Older, Slower,” which is bundled with the song “Everything Real Is Free,” both of which are out on January 5th, 2023.
Formed in 2018, this group of musicians (singer/guitarist/songwriter Chris Weilding (formerly of Hedwig and the Angry Inch band Cheater), Laura McCullough (bass/vocals), and Drew Foglia (drums/vocals)) looks to indie acts like A Giant Dog and PANGEA and classic alt-rock acts such as the Replacements and Pixies to formulate their sound focused on hard-hitting riffs and catchy melodies.
Commenting on their new tunes, the band shares the following:
“We are very proud of this latest single – we think it is our best work yet! This is due in no small amount to the excellent work by the guys at Found After Dark Studio – Max Gowan and Travis Harrington, who are talented artists as well as engineers.”
“Older, Slower” b/w “Everything Real Is Free” sees the trio hitting new collaborative milestones as Laura contributed extra vocals and lyrics to, as they put it, “round out the band’s unique male/female vocal dynamic.” The new music follows three previous EPs – Goddamn Wolves, Dauphine and Resign Yourself.
Local fans would be silly to miss the group’s upcoming gigs in Raleigh… see below for details.
